Joseph Campbell
The meaning of life is whatever you ascribe it to be. Being alive is the meaning
- Somewhere I read there is no meaning to life except the meaning we give to it.
- I often found it true in my life, there is no meaning to life, except the meaning I give myself to it.
- If we think we are here to live a happy, healthy and prosperous life and hold on to that thought and that becomes the truth in our lives and we can live that way
- The other way is also true. If we think negatively, pessimistically about our life and that also becomes the truth for us.
I know it sounds corny, but I think the meaning of life is to do what you love and be happy.

- The ultimate aim of mankind is to live a happy life and our job in this lifetime is to live it.
- Do what you love to do. Be how you want to be and live how you want to live. Do what makes you feel good.
- If you are having difficulty living a joyous life, try to find a way to do it.
- Follow other successful people and do what they have done and repeat it.
- Read books, listen to audio courses and take courses on personal success.
- What we repeatedly think and speak becomes the truth for us.
- So, Why don’t we think happy, healthy, and joyous thoughts most of the time?
- Think about it.
For the meaning of life differs from man to man, from day to day and from hour to hour. What matters, therefore, is not the meaning of life in general but rather the specific meaning of a person’s life at a given moment.
